How to boil your soft boiled egg: The trick I use to be fool proof every time is to bring my water to a boil ahead of time. I only add 2 eggs at a time. I leave the water boiling and as soon as I set the eggs in I set a timer for 5 minutes. Then right when the timer goes off I remove them and place them in an ice bath for 1 minute. As soon as that 1 minute is up I immediately peel it and slice it in half to place it on my ramen! Works like a charm every time!
